The Hartfield Academy Hawks basketball team (Flowood, MS), was overwhelmed 52-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS)
The Bobcats now possess a 21-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph Catholic for a MAIS 6A District 1 battle on Friday, February 2. Presbyterian Christian will confront a Bruins team coming off a 62-40 league loss to Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS). The Bruins record now stands at 5-12.
The Hawks (12-12) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS). The Patriots come into the MAIS 6A District 1 battle with a 18-10 record. In their last battle, Jackson Prep trounced Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS), 40-23, in a league battle.
