Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX), 49-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Liberty upgrades its record to 25-7 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 5A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, February 2. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 17-11. Walnut Grove won 41-34 in their recent league bout against Emerson (McKinney, TX)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, February 2. Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 16-16 season record. The Trail Blazers come into the bout with a 4-24 record after their 69-38 league loss to Memorial (Frisco, TX).
