Georgia High School Basketball - Northwest Whitfield overwhelmed by Heritage

The Heritage Generals basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Northwest Whitfield Bruins to 43 in the Generals league victory on Tuesday.

The Generals now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Whitfield County for a AAAA Region 7 contest on Friday, February 2. Heritage will battle a Raiders team coming off a 33-17 league loss to Central (Carrollton, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-16.

The Bruins (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Phoenix come into the AAAA Region 7 contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Sonoraville triumphed over Cedartown (Cedartown, GA), 56-28, in a league contest.
