The Hobbs Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Roswell Coyotes to 11 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clovis for a 5A District 4 contest on Friday, February 2. Hobbs will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 37-35 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-4.
