North Carolina High School Basketball - North Duplin trounces Hobbton

The North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 59-15 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rebels (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Cougars go into the 1A Carolina test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Neuse Charter was trounced by Union (Rose Hill, NC), 48-34, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they travel to Rosewood for a 1A Carolina test on Friday, February 2. Hobbton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 36-25 league loss to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-14.
