The Horton Chargers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting McLouth Bulldogs to 14 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Falls for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Horton will battle a Dragons team coming off a 66-42 non-league loss to Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 4-7.

The Bulldogs (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Ridge triumphed over Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, KS), 54-46, in a non-league contest.
