With the victory, Jackson Prep upgrades its record to 18-10 on the campaign. The Patriots host Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS) to play the Hawks in a MAIS 6A District 1 bout on Friday, February 2. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 12-12. Hartfield Academy lost 52-28 in their recent league bout against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS)

Next up, the Raiders play the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots (Madison, MS) in a MAIS 6A District 1 game, on Thursday, February 1. Jackson Academy will attempt to move on its 13-14 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 16-2 record after their 51-36 league win over Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS).
