Georgia High School Basketball - Mary Persons winner over Jackson

January 30, 2024: Jackson, GA 30233

The Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) basketball felled the host Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA), 52-42 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (19-4) will now prepare for their test against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Knights go into the AAA Region 2 test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Upson-Lee was beaten by Peach County (Fort Valley, GA), 68-62, in a league test.

The Red Devils now own a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Lamar County for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 31. Jackson will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 61-19 league win over Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 16-5.
