In Tuesday's league outing, the Sylvan Hills Bears (Sherwood, AR) basketball squad nipped the host Jacksonville Titans (Jacksonville, AR), by a margin of 38-32.

The Bears (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Maumelle (Maumelle, AR). The Hornets go into the 5A Central outing with a 3-15 record. In their last outing, Maumelle got by ESTEM (Little Rock, AR), 57-36, in a league outing.

The Titans now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Parkview for a 5A Central outing on Friday, February 2. Jacksonville will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 54-42 league win over Sylvan Hills (Sherwood, AR). The Patriots record now stands at 9-14.
