Sequoia Ravens (Redwood City, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Jefferson Grizzlies (Daly City, CA), 39-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Sequoia upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Ravens travel to Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA) to play the Tigers in a Peninsula - Ocean bout on Friday, February 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Terra Nova won 42-40 in their recent league bout against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the El Camino Colts (South San Francisco, CA) in a Peninsula - Ocean bout, on Friday, February 2. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 51-40 league loss to Westmoor (Daly City, CA).
