The John Adams Academy Patriots basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Leroy Greene Academy Lions to 18 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foresthill for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. John Adams Academy will battle a Wildfires team coming off a 54-13 league win over Forest Lake Christian (Auburn, CA). The Wildfires record now stands at 20-4.

The Lions (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA). The Panthers enter the Northern Pacific Athletic Conference contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Fortune Early College triumphed over Westlake Charter (Sacramento, CA), 57-24, in a league contest.
