Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA), 76-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Johnston upgrades its record to 20-0 on the season. The Dragons host Waukee (Waukee, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a Central Iowa Metro - Central bout on Friday, February 2. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Waukee won 73-36 in their recent non-league bout against Indianola (Indianola, IA)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The J-Hawks go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 55-40 league win over Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA).
