Texas High School Basketball - Joshua Christian overwhelms Mercy Prep Academy

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Joshua Christian Knights (Joshua, TX) and the visiting Mercy Prep Academy Royals (Waxahachie, TX), saw Joshua Christian's basketball squad wallop Mercy Prep Academy by a count of 57-8.

With the victory, Joshua Christian upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Methodist Children's Home (Waco, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a TCAF District 1 challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Methodist Children's Home lost 53-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Valor Preparatory Academy (Waco, TX)

Next up, the Royals play the Athens Christian Preparatory Academy Storm (Athens, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Mercy Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 41-25 league win over Regents Academy (Nacogdoches, TX).
