Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR), 36-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marist upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Spartans host North Bend (North Bend, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Sky Em bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 12-7. North Bend won 43-38 in their recent league bout against Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR)

Next up, the Tigers play the North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR) in a 4A Sky Em bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Junction City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 51-24 league loss to Marist (Eugene, OR).
