The Woodlawn Bears (Rison, AR) basketball nipped the host Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR), 50-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bears (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Gurdon (Gurdon, AR). The Go-Devils go into the 2A Region 8 test with a 12-4 record.
The Dragons now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Parkers Chapel for a 2A Region 8 test on Friday, February 2. Junction City will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 59-37 league win over Rison (Rison, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 14-5.
