Kellogg Panthers (Delton, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI), 56-15 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kellogg upgrades its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lawton (Lawton, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Lawton won 50-42 in their recent non-league bout against Bridgman (Bridgman, MI)

Next up, the Lions play the Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI) in a Big 8 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Maple Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 57-34 non-league win over East Jackson (Jackson, MI).
