The Kingfisher Yellowjackets basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Weatherford Eagles to 28 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a Western contest on Friday, February 2. Kingfisher will battle a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 54-21 league loss to Newcastle (Newcastle, OK). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 0-18.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tuttle (Tuttle, OK). The Tigers come into the Western contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Tuttle triumphed over Anadarko (Anadarko, OK), 42-29, in a league contest.
