Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI), 48-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Clarkston (Clarkston, MI) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Clarkston won 27-22 in their recent league bout against Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI)

Next up, the Dragons play the Kingston Cardinals (Kingston, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Lake Orion will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 65-21 non-league win over Ubly (Ubly, MI).
