In Tuesday's league outing, the Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lyle/Pacelli Athletics (Lyle, MN), by a margin of 54-24.

The Burros (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Southland (Adams, MN). The Rebels go into the A Section 1 outing with a 4-14 record. In their last outing, Southland was trounced by Houston (Houston, MN), 56-29, in a league outing.

The Athletics now own a 1-18 record. They play next when they host Kingsland for a A Section 1 outing on Thursday, February 1. Lyle/Pacelli will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 58-29 non-league win over Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN). The Knights record now stands at 11-5.
