The Lubbock Westerners basketball team (Lubbock, TX), was routed 60-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX)
The Bulldogs now sport a 18-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coronado for a 5A Region I District 4 battle on Friday, February 2. Wylie will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 61-42 league win over Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-21.
The Westerners (6-20) will now prepare for their battle against Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region I District 4 battle with a 12-18 record. In their last battle, Cooper was routed by Monterey (Lubbock, TX), 102-35, in a league battle.
