In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI) basketball squad felled the host University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), by a margin of 39-25.
The Crusaders (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI). The Chargers go into the Michigan Independent - Blue outing with a 7-3 record.
The Knights now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Greenhills for a non-league outing on Friday, February 2. University Liggett will clash with a Gryphons squad coming off a 41-8 league loss to Richard (Riverview, MI). The Gryphons record now stands at 4-9.
