The Waterville Panthers basketball team (Waterville, ME), was nudged 42-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME)
The Huskies now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morse for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Maine Central Institute will battle a Shipbuilders team coming off a 47-44 non-league loss to Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Shipbuilders record now stands at 2-13.
The Panthers (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Richmond (Richmond, ME). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Richmond edged North Haven (North Haven, ME), 76-10, in a non-league battle.
