Ohio High School Basketball - Marion-Franklin ripped by Walnut Ridge

The Walnut Ridge Scots basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Marion-Franklin Red Devils to 7 in the Scots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Scots now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South for a Columbus City - South contest on Friday, February 2. Walnut Ridge will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-24 league win over Briggs (Columbus, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-8.

The Red Devils (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Africentric Early College (Columbus, OH). The Nubians enter the Columbus City - South contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Africentric Early College triumphed over West (Columbus, OH), 69-5, in a league contest.
