St. Joseph Lancers (Kenosha, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI), 74-57 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Lancers host Racine Lutheran (Racine, WI) to play the Crusaders in a Metro Classic bout on Friday, February 2. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-17. Racine Lutheran lost 67-20 in their recent league bout against Dominican (Whitefish Bay, WI)

Next up, the Spartans play the Dominican Knights (Whitefish Bay, WI) in a Metro Classic bout, on Friday, February 2. Martin Luther will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 48-43 league win over St. Thomas More (Milwaukee, WI).
