Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers (Morris, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN), 69-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Tigers travel to West Central Area (Barrett, MN) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 13-7. West Central Area won 73-31 in their recent non-league bout against Swanville (Swanville, MN)

Next up, the Dutchmen play the B O L D Warriors (Olivia, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Melrose will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 44-36 non-league loss to Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN).
