With the victory, Mercy improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Marlins host Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI) to play the Fighting Irish in a Catholic Central challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Gabriel Richard won 43-16 in their recent league challenge against Divine Child (Dearborn, MI)

Next up, the play the St. Ursula Academy Arrows (Toledo, OH) in a Freelance challenge, on Friday, February 2. Regina will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Arrows come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 36-33 league loss to Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI).
