The Winnsboro Raiders basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Mineola Yellowjackets to 38 in the Raiders league victory on Tuesday.
The Raiders now sport a 27-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a 3A Region II District 13 contest on Friday, February 2. Winnsboro will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 41-22 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX). The Red Devils record now stands at 18-12.
The Yellowjackets (16-14) will now prepare for their contest against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX). The Red Devils come into the 3A Region II District 13 contest with a 18-13 record. In their last contest, Chapel Hill was routed by Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX), 69-37, in a league contest.
