Star City Bulldogs (Star City, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Monticello Billies (Monticello, AR), 58-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Star City upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Mills University Studies (Little Rock, AR) to play the Comets in a 4A Region 8 bout on Friday, February 2. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Mills University Studies lost 60-37 in their recent league bout against Hamburg (Hamburg, AR)

Next up, the Billies play the Hamburg Lions (Hamburg, AR) in a 4A Region 8 bout, on Friday, February 2. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 17-3 record after their 60-37 league win over Mills University Studies (Little Rock, AR).
