Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host New London Tigers (New London, IA), 71-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Nikes host WACO (Wayland, IA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 10-8. WACO won 45-42 in their recent non-league bout against Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. New London will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 65-33 league loss to Chariton (Chariton, IA).
