South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Noble Knights (North Berwick, ME), 45-14 in a league bout.

With the win, South Portland upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Red Riots host Gorham (Gorham, ME) to clash with the Rams in a AA South bout on Friday, February 2. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Gorham won 57-35 in their recent league bout against Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME) in a AA South bout, on Friday, February 2. Noble will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Red Storm go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 59-34 league win over Massabesic (Waterboro, ME).
