West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA), 49-34 in a league bout.

With the win, West Fork upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Warhawks host Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA) to clash with the Huskies in a Corn Bowl bout on Friday, February 2. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Nashua-Plainfield lost 59-29 in their recent non-league bout against Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA)

Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. North Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record.
