North Lake/Paisley (Silver Lake, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Trinity Lutheran Saints (Bend, OR), 38-23 in a league bout.

With the win, North Lake/Paisley upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The travel to Prospect (Prospect, OR) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A Mountain Valley bout on Thursday, February 1. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Saints clash with the Bonanza Antlers (Bonanza, OR) in a 1A Mountain Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Trinity Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Antlers go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 45-34 league win over Crosspoint Christian (Klamath Falls, OR).
