Iowa High School Basketball - Okoboji can't hold off Rock Valley

The Rock Valley Rockets basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Okoboji Pioneers to 45 in the Rockets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rockets now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George-Little Rock for a Siouxland contest on Thursday, February 1. Rock Valley will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 52-49 non-league loss to Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-4.
The Pioneers (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The Lions enter the Siouxland contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Central Lyon was nudged by Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA), 64-57, in a league contest.
