Georgia High School Basketball - South Paulding tops Paulding County

January 30, 2024: Douglasville, GA 30134

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) and the visiting Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), saw South Paulding's basketball squad knock off Paulding County by a tally of 52-41.

With the victory, South Paulding improves its record to 8-14 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to New Manchester (Douglasville, GA) to play the Jaguar in a AAAAAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Jaguar come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. New Manchester won 66-46 in their recent league challenge against Newnan (Newnan, GA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Paulding County will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 66-46 league loss to New Manchester (Douglasville, GA).

The South Paulding (Douglasville, GA) varsity basketball team won Tuesday's home conference game against Paulding County (Dallas, GA) by a score of 52-41.
