The Purcell Dragons (Purcell, OK) basketball knocked off the host Pauls Valley Panthers (Pauls Valley, OK), 51-38 in Tuesday's league test.
The Dragons (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK). The Bobcats go into the Canadian Valley test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Bridge Creek went down by Marlow (Marlow, OK), 45-24, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Washington for a Canadian Valley test on Friday, February 2. Pauls Valley will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 62-46 non-league loss to Riverside Indian (Anadarko, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 16-3.
