Kansas High School Basketball - Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] trounces Sabetha

The Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones (Wathena, KS) basketball crushed the host Sabetha Bluejays (Sabetha, KS), 48-14 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cyclones (14-0) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson West (Meriden, KS). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Jefferson West walloped Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS), 48-37, in a non-league test.

The Bluejays now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Royal Valley for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Sabetha will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 37-27 non-league loss to Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 2-11.
