Michigan High School Basketball - Southfield Christian can't hold off Roeper

The Roeper Roughriders basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting Southfield Christian Eagles to 27 in the Roughriders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Roughriders now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkway Christian for a Michigan Independent - Red contest on Friday, February 2. Roeper will battle a Eagles team coming off a 49-39 league loss to Clarenceville (Livonia, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 8-3.
The Eagles (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI). The Eagles enter the Michigan Independent - Blue contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Plymouth Christian Academy nudged Lutheran (Westland, MI), 57-32, in a non-league contest.
