The West Central Area Knights basketball team (Barrett, MN), was nudged 55-54 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN)

The Mainstreeters now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minnewaska Area for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 1. Sauk Centre will battle a Lakers team coming off a 55-40 league win over Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 14-5.

The Knights (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Swanville (Swanville, MN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Swanville was nudged by Braham (Braham, MN), 73-21, in a league battle.
