The Sayre Eagles basketball team (Sayre, OK), was nudged 41-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Snyder Cyclones (Snyder, OK)
The Cyclones now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cordell for a Shortgrass battle on Friday, February 2. Snyder will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 61-38 league loss to Navajo (Altus, OK). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-12.
The Eagles (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Hollis (Hollis, OK). The Tigers come into the Shortgrass battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Hollis edged Burns Flat-Dill City (Burns Flat, OK), 35-27, in a league battle.
