The Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball felled the host Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ), 38-19 in Tuesday's league test.
The Firebirds (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Falcons go into the test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Cactus Shadows thwarted Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ), 41-13, in a league test.
The Saints now own a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon for a test on Thursday, February 1. Notre Dame Prep will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 36-31 league win over Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 9-5.
