The Gate City Blue Devils basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Lee Generals to 16 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgeview for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Gate City will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 33-29 non-league loss to John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 3-2.
The Generals (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, John Battle prevailed over Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA), 33-29, in a non-league contest.
