The Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA), 37-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rams (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Islanders go into the non-league bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, Poquoson was edged by Warhill (Williamsburg, VA), 35-32, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Clippers clash with the Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Grafton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 35-32 non-league win over Poquoson (Poquoson, VA).
