Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA), 69-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Washington-Liberty upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Generals host Langley (McLean, VA) to clash with the Saxons in a bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Langley won 38-33 in their recent league bout against Wakefield (Arlington, VA)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Herndon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Statesmen go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 36-10 non-league win over Wakefield School (The Plains, VA).
