Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), 48-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Spotswood upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Trailblazers host Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 16-2. Turner Ashby won 45-12 in their recent non-league bout against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Rockbridge County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 33-17 non-league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
