Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) and the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), saw West Henderson's basketball squad wallop Smoky Mountain by a count of 50-20.

With the victory, West Henderson upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Pisgah (Canton, NC) to play the Bears in a challenge on Friday, February 2. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Pisgah won 39-34 in their recent league challenge against Franklin (Franklin, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Smoky Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 52-20 non-league win over North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC).
