The Aztecs now hold a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Firebaugh for a West Sierra test on Friday, February 2. Mendota will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Tranquillity (Tranquillity, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-14.

With the loss, Avenal drops to 2-14 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA) to meet the Broncos in a West Sierra test on Friday, February 2. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 7-12. Dos Palos lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Coalinga (Coalinga, CA)
