Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI), 59-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Petoskey upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Northmen travel to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Traverse City Central won 62-40 in their recent non-league bout against Dearborn (Dearborn, MI)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Alpena will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
