Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC), 46-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bandys upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Lincolnton lost 51-37 in their recent non-league bout against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. East Burke will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 51-37 non-league win over Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC).
