The Norristown Eagles (Norristown, PA) basketball nipped the host Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA), 49-45 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record.

The Bears now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Methacton for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1.
