North Carolina High School Basketball - Highland Tech ripped by Burns

The Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Highland Tech Rams to 22 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thomas Jefferson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Burns will meet a Gryphons team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 5-2.

The Rams (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Shelby triumphed over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC), 60-19, in a non-league contest.
